RNLI - Our Chosen Charity ...

Our chosen charity for 2006 for all fundraising events and activities is The Royal National Lifeboat Institution ...
The Bell has been officially appointed as the new Frome branch of the RNLI from the 1st of January 2006.

We will be meeting in the back barn on a regular basis to discuss and agree on a whole range of fund raising ideas and events for the coming year. We will be forming an Inshore Rescue Team based at the pub to be on call if we are needed, although it can be argued that we are many miles from the sea, we do have some pretty treacherous rivers in and around Frome that have been known to burst their banks and form rather large puddles !!
Members of the crew will be known as weather systems from the shipping forecast such as Dogger Bank and Portland Bill. Please watch this space for further details and photos of the crew in their uniforms provided by the RNLI.
